1. Culture - we always admired the feeling around us wherever we go. People around here tend to favor kindness and doing the right thing.
2. Weather- no doubt it gets hot here, but for 9 months out of the year, we spend most of our days outside enjoying Mother Earth.
3. Property taxes- We are ranked one of the lowest states in the US. You know what that means. If we decide to retire here, and our home is paid off. It really isn’t going to cost us much to survive.
4. Location- we are minutes away from a lake, a few hours from mountains, and a few more from beaches. So we have everything we may need within a reasonable distance.
The world is forever changing; who knows what the future holds, but for now, we are planting some roots here.
